My fitness background started from childhood like most children’s. I played all kinds of sports growing up from playing little league to wrestling in the front yard with the neighborhood kids. I have always enjoyed being active. Once high school was over, I joined the Army thinking “what a dream job, I get paid to work out and shot guns”, (I wasn’t entirely accurate). It was there in 2011 that I first learned of Crossfit. I used it to help keep me ready to do anything that the military might want me to do. Once I finished my service I came back to CA. and joined CrossfitRiverside. I have never been one to only dip my toes in the water, since joining CFR I have fully emerged myself in the teachings, community, knowledge, competition, and life lessons that Crossfit has to offer.
My own personal mantra is, to make this world a better place I must always strive to bring as much positivity and value to it. And it is in the service to others that I am best able to accomplish this. I am here to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for health and fitness with everyone. I truly believe, and as corny as it may sound that, that through working out we not only become healthier people, but we become better humans beings physically and mentally.
